DESCRIPTION

Venoruton Forte is a drug in the form of tablets that protects venous vessels, stabilizes the venous wall, which reduces swelling. Venoruton Forte is used for leg swelling, venous insufficiency (varicose veins of the legs), hemorrhoids.

COMPOSITION

The active substance of the drug is o-(ß-hydroxyethyl)-rutosides (O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutosidea (Oxerutins)).

1 tablet contains 500 mg of o-(ß-hydroxyethyl)-rutosides.

Excipients: polyethylene glycol 6000, magnesium stearate.

DOSAGE

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The drug is administered orally.

Adults:

initial dosage: 1 tablet twice a day until symptoms disappear completely (usually for 2 to 4 weeks),
Maintenance dosage: 1 tablet once a day (for several weeks).
ACTION

Venoruton Forte affects the elasticity of the vessels and the venous wall, stabilizing it, which reduces the permeability of fluids and blood cells. The effect of this action is reduced vascular permeability and reduced swelling.

INDICATIONS

symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (varicose veins of the legs),
reducing swelling and alleviating symptoms such as: tingling and burning sensation, pain and muscle cramps, feeling of heavy, swollen and aching legs,
symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids,
helpful in microangiopathy in the course of diabetes,
varicose veins and other vascular diseases of the lower limbs.
CONTRAINDICATIONS

When not to use Venoruton forte:

if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Rare side effects (affects 1 to 10 in 1,000 people):

digestive tract disorders (including: flatulence, diarrhea, abdominal pain, stomach discomfort, indigestion),
itching.
Very rare side effects (less than 1 in 10,000 people):

dizziness, headaches,
tiredness,
sudden facial redness.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Before taking Venoruton forte, talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you experience swelling around your ankles that is the result of heart, liver or kidney disease, as the medicine is not effective in these cases.

Store the medicine at room temperature.
Store in the original packaging to protect from moisture.
Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
USE OF OTHER DRUGS

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before Pregnancy:
using this medicine.

Pregnancy:
The use of o-(beta-hydroxyethyl rutosides) is not recommended in the first three months of pregnancy.

USE OF THE MEDICATION IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Venoruton forte is not recommended for use in children.

DRIVING VEHICLES AND OPERATING MACHINES

Fatigue and dizziness have been observed in rare cases in patients taking this medicine. If you experience such symptoms, you should not drive or operate machinery.
