SMECTA Antidiarrheal sachets ON GO

Treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea in adults and children.

Ingredients

1 sachet contains: active substance: diosmectite 3g and auxiliary substances: glucose monohydrate, sodium saccharin, vanilla flavor, orange flavor.

Action

Antidiarrheal, coating the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, protects the mucosa by isolating it from the action of hydrochloric acid and other irritants.

Dosage

Adults: the usual dose is 3 sachets a day. It is recommended to administer the drug between meals. Children: the dosage of the drug in children should be consulted with a doctor in advance. Under the age of 1: 1 sachet a day, aged 1 to 2 years: 1 to 2 sachets a day, over 2 years of age: 2 to 3 sachets a day. The content of each sachet should be dissolved in 50 ml of water and administered in small portions throughout the day. It can also be served with semi-liquid foods.

Contraindications

Allergy to diosmectite or any of the other ingredients of the drug. The drug contains glucose and sucrose. In patients with glucose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase isomaltase deficiency.
