No-Spa Max is a diastolic drug that reduces abdominal pain manifested in the form of painful cramps and in the pelvis, affecting the stomach and intestines. No-Spa Max also relieves bile and urinary tract pain and genital tract pain in women. The drug is based on drotaverine hydrochloride, which is used in spasm of smooth muscles of nervous and muscular origin, the most common symptom of which is fighting in the abdomen. Drotaverine has a relaxant effect regardless of the type of innervation or smooth muscle location. In addition, after oral administration, this component is completely absorbed, metabolized in the liver, and then excreted mainly in the urine and to a lesser extent through the gastrointestinal tract.

in smooth muscle spasms associated with bile ducts:
cholelithiasis,
cholecystitis
pericellular inflammation,

renal pelvis inflammation,
cystitis
painful urination.
Also supportive:

in gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasms:

gastritis
enteritis
colitis
in spasmodic conditions of the cardia and pylorus of the stomach,
irritable bowel syndrome,
spastic constipation and intestinal bloating,
inflammation of the pancreas
in gynecological diseases:
dysmenorrhea.
Composition
1 tablet contains:

active substance: drotaverine hydrochloride 80mg.
excipients: tablet core: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, talc. Tablet coating: Opadry II yellow 85G32207: polyvinyl alcohol, talc, quinoline yellow lake (E 104), macrogol, titanium dioxide (E 171), lecithin (soy), yellow iron oxide (E 172), red iron oxide (E 172) .
Action
Drotaverine has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the abdominal cavity and uterus.

Dosage

Adults: 1 film-coated tablet 2 or 3 times a day; daily dose is 120 to 240mg.
Children: if No-Spa Max is to be used in children over 12 years of age: 1 film-coated tablet 1 or 2 times a day; the maximum daily dose for children is 160mg.
Clinical studies have not been conducted in children. The drug can be used for a maximum of 7 days without consulting a doctor. The score line on the tablet is not intended to break the tablet. Contraindications

Allergic to drotaverine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Severe liver, kidney and heart failure.
Atrioventricular block II-III degree.
The drug should not be taken by children under 12 years of age.
Storage

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store below 25 ° C. Store in the original package in order to protect from light.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Side effects

Rare side effects (affects 1 to 10 users in 10,000):

allergic reactions (angioedema, urticaria, rash, itching),

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. This includes medicines obtained without a prescription.
Concomitant use of No-Spa Max with levodopa may reduce its anti-parkinson effect and increase tremor and stiffness.

The choline yellow in the medicine may cause allergic reactions.
