CAYA diaphragm GEL 60g

Caya Gel is a contraceptive gel for use with the barrier contraceptives diaphragm and portio cap. Caya Gel increases the safety of these contraceptive methods. It has been shown to be less safe to use without a contraceptive gel. Caya Gel is identical to the Contracep® green manufactured from 1972 to 2002 and the ContraGel® green, which has been available since 2005. In a comparative study of various diaphragm gels and creams, this lactic acid-based composition was rated as safe as nonoxynol-9-containing products as early as 1989 (Dittrich 1989), albeit with a significantly lower potential for side effects.
